About Dr. Leah
Dr. Leah Smith, MD is the Founder and Medical Director of My Beauty Doctor. She completed both her Bachelor of Science and Medical Doctorate at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She then went on to complete her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.
Upon graduating, she received a prestigious award for her performance on the Canadian Licensing Exam for Family Physicians and went on to do a fellowship in low-risk obstetrics through the University of Toronto.
She now holds an academic appointment as a part-time lecturer at the University of Toronto. She continues to practice community-based family medicine, with a focus on women's health and maternity care. In addition, Dr. Leah also does family practice obstetrics call at a major downtown hospital and works as a surgical assist for the chief of Plastic Surgery at a major GTA hospital.

As a generalist with a broad scope of practice, Dr. Leah Smith takes a very holistic approach to her patients’ health and well-being. Combined with her strong surgical skills and experience, she is very well placed to provide excellent care in the realm of non-invasive Medical Aesthetics procedures.
What truly sets her practice apart is her firm commitment to providing patients with a friendly, comfortable, and non-judgmental space that is free of any stigma attached to injectables. She firmly believes in the importance of inclusivity of all genders and races. Dr. Leah is driven by a mission to make medical aesthetics more accessible and inclusive.
Whether it be a patient's first time exploring Botulinum Toxin or Hyaluronic Acid Filler or they are experienced with injectable treatments - Dr. Leah believes in the importance of tailoring the appointment experience for each patient. She reviews all initial medical consults to ensure quality and safety and is committed to being available to her patients not only during appointments but beyond to ensure that the desired results are achieved.
